Swinging Toes In Blue Jeans
Dance Partner: You're smiling. I must be doing something right. *pause* Of course, you smiled when I made you hit your head on your arm during the turn, so I don't really know what to think.
Isis: *grin* I'm just easy to please that way.

Isis to friend: I like the cuddle-in/cuddle-out step. The guy's body is there to hold mine in check. [During some of the other turns,] I don't always stop when I should. Actually... that's applicable across the board.

*sighs happily* I have wa~y too much fun when I dance.

I'm glad you decided to post anyway and I feel very bad that I didn't ask you to just do that sooner. My latest LJ post (May 30, 2005) has an update on where I'm at with Secrets and more apologizing. I also wanted you to know I appreciate your patience/diplomacy... you have a right to whine and complain ... it's been, what? 6 months now? @.@ Gods. Now I feel like a complete and utter heel. Anyway... there was ample opportunity for you to chew me out, and I appreciate that you didn't.

Ah... and which format do you save your drafts in? .doc? .wpd? I finally got a decently functioning program that'll handle Word files... but I can't recall what's easiest for you.

Um... I usually save them in doc but I can see wpd too. My processor is WordPerfect.

Are you sure you can look over my fic? I still have to fix up the Epilogue and send it to you. Do you really want to be my beta? If you can't, I will understand. I'm not unreasonable. ^^;

Wunderbar. *looks around, stops using foreign phrases she doesn't know how to spell* I'm not sure about taking on other future stories, but I definitely want to finish up with Secrets. Time/Work constraints will be severely lessened in the summer. Since I believe I've already seen a draft of the Epilogue, it makes sense that the story will be able to be finished over the summer. Hence, I should be able to finish up once school reading and papers and weddings and conferences are out of the way.

I think I remember waving hi over at your lj, but I figured since I was catching up here, I'd better post.

:D Yes, I remember you from FFN. I'm still waiting for more of "The Best Kept Secrets."

^_^; It's been a crazy half of a year. For some reason, I thought I'd have more free time in grad school... which is true to an extent, but I now have more social obligations and although I've not been 'working,' I've been doing a lot of volunteer work.

Dark Masquerade should be updated by the end of June, if not sooner.

A Captive Complications update (or two) should quickly follow that.
